What this site collects, why, which companies process it on our behalf, and how to have it removed. No dark patterns, no selling your details.
01Who we are
Freddy Media LLC, based in Atlantic Beach, Florida. We are the people responsible for this website and for anything you send us through it. You can reach us any time at team@freddymedia.com or (904) 349-3139.
02What we collect
Only two kinds of information, and you hand over both deliberately.
What you type into a form. Your name, work email, company or website, what you are interested in, and whatever you tell us about the project. If you apply to the creator roster, that also includes your profile link and audience size.
Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter. That is all the newsletter needs.
Alongside that, the usual measurement data every site collects: pages visited, how you arrived, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you used. That is not tied to a name unless you have also filled in a form.
03Why we collect it
To reply to you. To run the work if we end up working together. To send the newsletter you asked for. And to understand which pages and campaigns are worth the effort.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anyone looking to sell you something unrelated.
04Who processes it for us
We use a small number of established companies to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs:
- HubSpot — our CRM. Form enquiries are filed here so we can follow up properly.
- Typeform — runs the enquiry form on our contact page.
- Mailgun — delivers form enquiries to our inbox.
- beehiiv — runs the newsletter, including the unsubscribe link in every issue.
- Google Analytics — measurement, as described above.
- Meta — measures whether our advertising reaches the right people.
- Vercel — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
- YouTube — serves the videos embedded on our pages.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, which has not happened to date.
06How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our CRM while there is a live conversation or an active relationship, and are reviewed periodically after that. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Measurement data expires on the schedules set by Google and Meta.
07Your choices
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe, and it works immediately.
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require you to prove a legal right before we will do that, and we aim to respond within a few working days.
If you are in California, the EU or the UK, you have specific rights over your data under your local law. Ask and we will honour them.
08How it is kept
The site is served over HTTPS. Credentials for the services above are held in the hosting platform's encrypted environment and are never published in the website's code. Access is limited to the people at Freddy who need it.
09Children
This is a business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10Changes to this page
When our practices change, this page changes with them, and the date at the top moves. Material changes will be flagged here rather than slipped in quietly.
